To install and set up OpenVPN Connect on Windows 11, follow these steps:

1.Download the Windows 11 Installer:Prerequisite: Administrator privileges.

1. Open your web browser and go to the official OpenVPN download page: [https://openvpn.net/client-connect-vpn-for-windows/](https://openvpn.net/client-connect-vpn-for-windows/)
2. Click Download OpenVPN Connect for Windows to get the latest .msi installer package.

2.Run the OpenVPN Connect Setup Wizard:

1. Open your Downloads folder and double-click the downloaded .msi file (e.g., openvpn-connect-v3-windows.msi).
2. Click Next on the Welcome screen.
3. Accept the End User License Agreement terms and click Next.
4. Click Install. When the Windows 11 User Account Control (UAC) prompt appears asking for administrator permissions, click Yes.
5. Once completed, click Finish to launch the application.

3.Import Your Profile or Connect to Access Server:

1. Open OpenVPN Connect from your Windows Start Menu or Desktop shortcut.
2. Agree to the Terms of Service.
3. Choose your import method:
   • URL Tab: Enter your OpenVPN Access Server URL (e.g., [https://vpn.yourdomain.com](https://vpn.yourdomain.com)), click Next, and enter your server credentials.
   • File Tab: Click Browse, navigate to your local .ovpn configuration file, and select Open.

4.Establish the VPN Connection:

1. Enter your VPN account Username and Password if required by your configuration profile.
2. Click Add or Connect.
3. Toggle the connection switch to ON. The icon in your Windows 11 system tray (bottom-right taskbar) will turn green when successfully connected.
